‘t Veldmuisje is a dedicated, personal childcare organization. We operate small-scale locations with a home-like atmosphere. Our consistent, trusted pedagogical staff know each child thoroughly and provide a safe and loving environment where children can develop at their own pace.
Every day, we pedagogically encourage ‘our’ children to embark on a journey of discovery. Through play, they explore the world and learn a lot about interacting with others. We stimulate their imagination, wonder, and independence, so they grow step by step into confident, social, and curious ‘big’ people.
Across 12 small-scale locations in Maasdriel and Vught, we offer 4 types of childcare. So, we have suitable care for your child too!
Big on small-scale care
Behind the scenes, our professional organization ensures everything runs smoothly. We also have a dedicated pedagogue who supports our pedagogical staff and collaborates with them. Additionally, we work closely with schools, healthcare professionals, the municipality, and, of course, with you as parents and guardians.

At Kinderopvang ’t Veldmuisje, every child is our main focus. We believe it’s important for children to feel safe, seen, and secure. From that foundation, they get the space to play, explore, learn, and develop at their own pace.
Our pedagogical approach revolves around personal attention, peace, structure, and warmth. We encourage children to develop their independence, language skills, social skills, and creativity through play. We do this with daily activities, fixed routines, and familiar faces in the group. This way, we create an environment where children feel at home and can explore the world around them with confidence.
