Parent App
Through the Parent App, you can easily stay involved in your child’s day. In the digital diary, we share photos and tell you about the fun, small, and big moments your child experiences with us. You can also easily exchange messages with our staff and arrange extra childcare days or vacations when needed.

The benefits
Communication between you and us
As childcare professionals, we walk alongside you in your child’s development, guidance, and upbringing during the time they are in our care. Because we are part of the child’s inner circle, we believe it’s important to maintain constant and accessible contact. Contact about what your child experiences and discovers, and about how we can best help your child grow together.
Growing and developing doesn’t happen without trial and error. During times when things aren’t so easy, our childcare professionals—and if necessary, our educational specialist—are always here to think along and offer support. To make that possible, we expect parents to share how their child is doing with us.
How do we keep each other informed?
We do that in the following ways:
- At the time of registration, we exchange a lot of information during the introductory and intake interview.
- We keep you constantly informed as a parent via our social media channels and the KidsKonnect parent portal, because in this online medium, both you and we can make notes about daily routines and special events.
- During drop-off and pick-up, we also exchange information, letting your child tell as much as possible themselves.
- If necessary, we organize a parent-teacher meeting.
- You can always talk to us if you have questions or want to discuss something. The regular childcare professionals of your child’s group are your first point of contact. If needed, our educational specialist or someone from management can also join. We’d love to hear from you!
Parent Committee
In addition to communication about your own child, we also love to hear what parents think of ‘t Veldmuisje. What’s going well, what could be better, and what ideas do you have? We collect this feedback through the parent committee.
The parent committee consists of involved parents who represent the interests of all parents, think along about activities, and advise management on policy.
