Discovering the outdoors, every single day
There’s always something to experience outside. From looking for insects together to running, climbing, and playing in the fresh air. That’s why we go outside every day. Rain or shine. Because a puddle to splash in is sometimes just as much fun as playing in the sun.
Our outdoor spaces invite children to move, discover, and use their imagination. This gives them the room to explore the world around them in their own way.
Plenty of room to play and grow
Playing outside gives children freedom. They move, discover new things, and come up with the best adventures together. While playing, they learn to take each other into account, work together, and stand up for themselves.
While running, climbing, jumping, and balancing, children develop their motor skills through play. At the same time, they get to know nature and everything that lives in it. This makes every day outside a new discovery.
A garden full of adventure
Every group has access to a safe and challenging outdoor space. There are places to play together, quietly explore, hide, or just have a moment to yourself. Sun or shade, active or calm: every child will find a spot that fits here.
At every location, we look at what the environment has to offer, so that children can move freely, discover, and enjoy being outside.
''Anything is possible outside. Hiding, having lunch, reading aloud, going on a treasure hunt. Our gardens invite you to explore and play. ''
Conny Hoskam, Childcare Manager
Caring for nature together
Children are naturally curious. They look at a ladybug with wonder, follow a butterfly, or see how a seed grows into a plant. By exploring nature together, children learn through play how special and important it is.
At various locations, we maintain a vegetable garden together. We sow, care for, and harvest together. And of course, we also taste what grows. This way, children discover where food comes from and experience how much fun it is to grow something together.

Healthy nutrition
We think it’s important for children to get to know different flavors and healthy eating habits. That’s why we provide varied meals and snacks every day that align with the Dutch ‘Schijf van Vijf’ dietary guidelines.
Interior and play materials
When designing our spaces, we look through the eyes of children. What catches their attention? What makes them curious? And what helps them to go on an exploration independently? This is how we create a pleasant and familiar environment.
